Project Description

Chris worked hard as a professional bartender for a number of years.  He owned his studio condo, had great credit and was a great saver.  He wanted to buy a larger space to live in and had found a Penthouse in the heart of Vancouver BC that was perfect for him.

The Challenge:
A large portion of his income is tips so his true income couldn’t be used by most banks as a large part of his tips wasn’t recorded on his income taxes.

The Solution:
Chris was approved for a mortgage with a slightly higher rate but still low enough to make the purchase make sense.  We put a plan in place to get him into a lower rate in 1 year which worked out as planned.

Chris now lives in the Penthouse of his dreams in downtown Vancouver BC and still owns the studio condo he was previously living in.  He is earning rental income from his studio condo which even gives him a little extra money at the end of each month.
